A wiring harness was messed up. Murphy states any wiring system that can be wired incorrectly will be wired incorrectly. Too wordy. If it can it will.
How to prevent Mr. Murphy from joining your show. design everything so it can only go together one way. Inside your computer there is a lot of wire. The ends are 'keyed' to only fit in the right way in correct spot. Not alt always been that way. Oh the dread sound of the Mother Board popping(frying, not scrap)
Think ahead. "how can this go wrong?" What can I do to prevent it? Pack things you hope you'll never need. Duct tape, have a roll in your trunk and other places. Prior planning prevents...

I can certainly vouch for if it can be wires wrong it will be. I've cursed murphy countless time especially when pulling in wire. It amazing if there is any thing at all the wire can get stuck on it will.
I'm going to designate you the "Inmurphyator" to find ways to fix lifes little anoyances.

Yes, that Murphy guy can be a regular PIA. My husband laughs but all winter I carry what he calls my boy scout bag (be prepared) ... a duffle with two full winter outfits in it, little snacks, handwarmers, shovel, etc. That way, since I'm prepared, nothing goes wrong. The only two times I've not had that bag along, I've gone in the ditch ... hmmmm

I agree...plan for contigency. Even if you don't need it, the boost in your self confidence, that you have done the planning....carries you through the sale as being the most prepared! It shows in how you carry yourself! and the one time you NEED it, your're GOLDEN!
My step children were never irritable becuase I never left home without their favorite snacks in my purse in case a trip lasted past their blood sugar levels.
My elderly father always behaved best for me because I carried his favorite candies in my purse.
I ALWAYS have a book to read in my purse so I am never to upset if I end up waiting.
That sort of planning keeps me calm in a somewhat zany world.
