Numbers are life forces in Numerology.

As long as you know how to reducing simple additions to 1-digit number like add 1+2+3+9 = 15 = 1+5 = 6, then you won't feel mathematically challenged in using Pure Numerology to decipher any personality.

Hi John,

I KNEW you would be liking Tim's post today! It is RIGHT in line with your expertise in Numerology.

Hi Tim. Well, surprise, surprise, surprise, indeed I AM sipping my coffee.

I did General Ledger Accounting YEARS ago. Intriguingly enough I am pretty good (not PhD in Math from Yale like my dad GREAT, must GOOD, I get them, and am happy and comfy WITH them. bizarre. I know.) AT NUMBERS.

Balance Sheet. P/L. Why speak Greek when you don't have to? Indeed QUICKEN is superb because it approaches business numbers in a manner most people GET. Perfect. Then GET (go purchase now...) QUICKEN for Small Businesses.

Tim, AHEM, where is your affiliate code hyperlink for this! (drumming fingers on table).

Best regards,

April Braswell

Everyone must basic GAP to have a small business - and run your own books before ever hiring it out. Too much good strategic info in there to ignore.

Intuit needs no help from me.
Quicken is Single Entry, easy to fudge the books the wrong way. Quick Books has debit/credits with balancing accounts.

'Greek' is the language to money guys speak

Great advice. I really should get my accounts stuff sorted into a package, instead of out-sourcing it to my accountant.

accounting has never been my strong point, but in keeping with "it's not what you make it's what you keep" i'm getting better at it.

now i'm getting a hot black organic coffee and going back to commenting.

Hope you make enough money for them to count!

But I don't LIKE to do acounting(WHINE!)

Ok, now I've got that off my chest. Can't I outsource that and just review it????

You nailed it. Ask me about my income and expenses any day - even in my sleep. If I don't track it, it's like throwing it away.

All the best,

That is an area that I need to do more work on. It gets out of hand doing it the old fashioned way.

Timothy, I do not do enough tracking and analysis. I have a tendency to charge forward. Probably my coffee habit. Thanks for the reminder. Mark

I love quickbooks! That's what I used at my last job and my current job. I'm sure I could've used some formal training, but I get by. I'll take decaf - I'm crazy enough.

Too much info in Formal Training, Seminar in a box was cool.
The reports are the gold mine. the tricks I used to make it do!

Tim,

Bookkeeping is a necessary bore. I find that when I let myself get behind, it is very painful to catch up. So, I've vowed to stay caught up this year!

Till you measure everything! Like HP had 105 processes one employee had to track! Too much of a good thing is 'bad'.

Pick 5 things.
1.income
2. expenses
3. time
4. relationships
5. education
Tracking everything is crucial for success. Good point!
