The Super Cleaner!
Change of pace here, will leave edgy stuff for next day.
Watched a VHS tape I picked up on 'Clean your house in a hour' Don Aslett been at it for years, I have lots of his books on cleaning and organizing and de-cluttering your life. So I watched.
I was awestruck! Dawn dish washing soap. Humble little Dawn is a monster grease cutter! Grease is the stuff that locks the dirt to our stuff. Cut the grease and now the dirt can be moved.
One drop in a spray bottle of water and a squeegee cleans windows! No streaks or gunk left! Spray carpet hour before steam cleaners come and wow.
Used diluted Dawn in the kitchen, my walls embarrassingly changed colors. The grease and dirt simply went away!
Other cleaners were of no avail! Occam's Razor again, simplest answer is best!

Glad to hear you blitzed your house and had such awesome results. True, the simplest answer is often the best. And, a focused (even short-term) approach to a task will yield noticeable results. Keep up the great work

I never knew Dawn was so efficient and I will try it. Any advice on removing hard water/calcium deposits from shower glass?

Trick I learned in the Navy was to wax the glass using car wax. Same theory as the Lemon oil, make the water bead up.
Car wax works on your satellite dish as well, making it work better in a rainstorm.

Don't have Dawn here but I'll try the Lemon Oil trick. Thanks for the tips.

I never knew Dawn was the super-hero of cleaning products. I'll remember that the next time it's time to replenish. Thanks for passing that along.
