Pay Attention! It is expensive.
Multi-tasking isn't. One thing at a time.
People forget how fast you do things. They remember how well you do them. 30 minute pizza is fast, and yet taste tests they win not. Are you serving up hot glop, or quality fare?
Clean you desk. Consider putting blinders around your computer screen.(limits distractions)
Ear plugs? Headphones are a nice 'Do not disturb' sign. we put up yellow tape(crime scene) at my old office.
Train the people around you to respect your time.(start by respecting your own. say 'no' more often) Always answering your cell after two rings? Why?! The phone is for your convenience, not theirs!
Go make a List

Great advice.
Once you tell people "no" they tend to value your time more highly as a result as well!

I find it's true for thinking too at times. When my mind mind is racing...if I stop what I'm doing (or the many things my mind is on) it slows everything down...lowering my stress and anxiety at the same time.
