I agree that trying to do to many things at once is counterproductive. At least I've learned it is for me.

I find it's true for thinking too at times. When my mind mind is racing...if I stop what I'm doing (or the many things my mind is on) it slows everything down...lowering my stress and anxiety at the same time.
